guzzie+Guss offers affordable baby gear from strollers, highchairs, rockers and accessories. Products are sold through an online store, amazon.com, buybuybaby.com as well as smaller boutiques across North America.
Challenge: The brand lacked consumer awareness and was often overlooked in stores by more popular products.
Solution: Create brand awareness through media outreach with magazine editors and bloggers to draw traffic to the website. Engage with customers on social media and answer questions about the brand, creating loyalty and trust.
"After working with Talia at Pink Pearl PR, our brand became a household name."
We started as a local business in Vancouver, B.C. Canada, and we are now selling guzzie + Guss products across North America and Asia. After increasing our sales through PR coverage, we have expanded our product line to include new strollers, high chairs, play pens, and baby gear accessories. Customers recognize the brand name on the street and ask for it when they go into the retail stories.

We promoted the brand at the ABC Kids Show to potential retail buyers, and showcased the products to the media.
At the show, we displayed our recent press coverage with a collection of magazine covers. Store buyers loved to see this as they knew the product would be sought after by their customers.
We worked with guzzie+ Guss for 18 months, pitching the brand to major industry publications across North America.
We secured coverage in magazines such as American Baby, Today's Parent, Pregnancy & Newborn (to name a few).
The products were also featured in countless online blogs, such as the Bump, and promoted on social media by influencers (and customers).
As brand recognition for the products increased through regular media attention, the brand was noticed by celebrity moms!
To generate product buzz, we worked with several magazines on contest initiatives. We were able to secure new press coverage, and get new customers interested in guzzie+Guss products.
